Check out this week’s Iten and Louise update!
I started a new update, page 25 just went up today!
Avatar Art (gaia online)
I used to be on gaia a lot, but not so much anymore. This is some art of my current avatar, though! I notice there’s a little screw up on the stroke effect….whoops! I still like it.
WIP - Super Sailor Chibi Moon fanart!
Working on this tonight, so I figure I’ll do some progress shots!
Lineart Test thing?
I tried a new technique for tomorrow’s Iten and Louise update, where I used thinner lines. But I have to say, I’m not really happy with the thin lines! I guess it just doesn’t fit in with the my style? So I looked into new techniques, and I’m pretty happy with this one here so far. It was just a fun little test image so I could see how the technique looked, so it’s hard to picture a comic inked this way. But I think the look is a little softer than the last things I tried, and I like that. So I guess we’ll see where I go from here, haha!
Preview of Iten & Lou page 14!
There’s only one panel on this page, and there’s no characters in it…so I put some extra effort into the lineart and shading. I’m very happy with it. You’ll get to see it larger in next Monday’s update! Along with two or so other pages.
The first seven pages up at Tapastic!
I decided to go ahead and start a full-blown comic! I’ll upload the first batch of seven pages + a cover once I’m done this last page. So later tonight/early tomorrow morning.
It’s called The Fair Adventures of Iten and Louise! But I’m going to call it Iten and Louise (or just Iten & Lou) for short.
Adventures of Iten & Lou - 4
I tried something new for the lineart on this page and, well, I am not happy with it! I’m going to go back to what I did for page three, I think. I like that look a lot better.
Adventures of Iten and Louise - 3
I spent a lot of time on the horse and rider, and I’m still not 100% happy with them…as an equestrian myself, I was trying hard to be as accurate as possible!
